Eleven years ago, I ventured to South America to enhance my Spanish skills, but it was the enchanting music that I heard in indigenous ceremonies that truly captivated me. That's when I picked up my first flute and began to learn. Since then, I've explored many different types of flutes, learning from magnificent teachers across Peru, Colombia, the Andean mountains, and the Amazon jungle.

I've had the privilege of joining concerts with Andean bands across Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia and playing music in ceremonies with a large indigenous family from Colombia for seven years. However, my musical path was not always straight forward, an infection I got in the jungle prevented me from continuing to play my most beloved flute and first instrument, the Quena. A 3 year break from making music and many tears shed - I picked up the guitar and started from zero. This experience taught me resilience, how to push through frustration, transform musical blockages and turn challenges into strengths. It taught me emotional alchemy and turning difficult situations into gold - tragedy into blessing. It taught me that there is nothing that can stop us from becoming a musician, apart from ourselves. This is something I am very passionate about helping my students - to overcome musical blockages, transform any frustrations and stay focused on achieving our dreams and enjoying the journey!

My soul connection is with the flutes - I am a vientista (wind instrument player) - but I also LOVE playing the guitar, writing songs, whistling, and singing. I also have a passion for the shamanic frame drum, feeling into its deep, resonant tones to explore the healing and transformative power of music.

Teaching has become a real passion of mine. I love guiding people of all ages and backgrounds to discover the joy of making music.
